Making
Melissa has a range of experience in crafting, altering and supervising costume for theatrical productions & beyond. She has trained in pattern drafting & altering, corsetry, tailoring, dress-making and stretchwear, Her experience ranges from traditional historical techniques to the contemporary and futuristic, and she is well-equipped to research, plan and create a costume from scratch.
Supervising
Further to making skills, Melissa is a capable costume supervisor. She has trained through hands-on experience at RADA across a large number of productions, and is confident and comfortable with planning, budgeting, sourcing & bringing to life the visions of costume designers, as well as the extended upkeep of a production.

Melissa has created a number of bespoke costumes fit for theatrical and film use, utilising a wide variety of techniques, from pattern crafting to hand-stitching, beading, stretchwear, and leatherworking.
